Blog Post Eight: Cream Corn
Creamed Corn (Better Than Canned)
Serves 4 | Prep: 15 min | Cook: 10 min
Ingredients
4 ears fresh corn, husked
2 Tbsp butter
¼ cup half & half
Sugar, to taste
Salt, to taste
Instructions
Soak corn husks in cold water for 30 minutes.
Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil. Add corn and cook for 5 minutes.
Remove corn and let cool slightly. Cut kernels off the cob.
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add corn, half & half, sugar, and salt to taste.
Simmer gently for 5 minutes until creamy. Serve warm.
